Here are some monochrome pieces available on the high-street. Monochrome is going to be a huge trend this season and I really like how simple this trend is and I hope you like my picks!
River island leather jacket £100. There's a lot of leather jackets on the market but I really like the way the lapels are on this particular one, I also like the silver hardware on it too!
River island stripped bag £35. This along with a suede holdall also from river island are my favorite monochrome bags I've seen. This is quite a statement piece so you could pair this with a really basic outfit.
Topshop leather contrast skater skirt £35. I like the way that there's two different textures on this skirt. This can be paired with a simple cream button up blouse and pointed court shoes which again are bang on trend. I haven't included any in the picture because I don't wear heels, but if I did then they would be featured.
Topshop white peplum top £18. Peplum was huge last year and it still fits in with the monochrome trend. Peplum is flattering on a lot of body shapes and come in many different styles and colours so theres bound to be one for you.
Pull and bear embroidery shorts £25.99. These can be worn all year round with or without tights. These would look great with chunky platform shoes such as the foxys by Jeffrey Campbell or studded flats such as the vectras from topshop. These would spice up a boring outfit and I love the intricut detail on them!
American apparel acrylic pom pom beanie hat £18. Beanie hats are very popular at the moment, even with celebrities! You can again get so many types but I really like this plain black one from aa which can add a tomboy/sporty look to an outfit. The pom pom is a cute extra.
